My Passions & Hobbies

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography is more than just a hobby for me—it’s a way to capture the world through my own perspective. I have a deep appreciation for landscapes, stunning landmarks, and architectural beauty, always seeking visually compelling moments to photograph. My Instagram portfolio is filled with carefully curated images that reflect my passion for exploring and documenting the aesthetics of my surroundings.

When I see something visually striking, I instinctively reach for my camera. Whether it’s a natural scene or remarkable architecture, photography has become an integral part of who I am. In my free time, I focus on capturing and sharing these moments, continuously refining my artistic eye and technical skills.

Social media platforms—especially Instagram and other Meta services—have become important creative outlets for me. I put a lot of effort into each post, carefully considering both image quality and how I present the visual story. My content often features places I’ve visited, such as iconic landmarks, unique buildings, and hidden gems. I want to inspire others by showcasing the beauty I encounter, whether in a single shot or a full series.

Many of my photos are taken with my phone, allowing me to capture spontaneous moments, but I also use a DSLR camera when I need more control over composition, depth, and lighting. Photography has taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to see ordinary places with a new sense of wonder. It’s a creative process I find both grounding and endlessly rewarding.

Martial Arts & budo

My passion for East Asian martial arts goes beyond just physical training—it’s deeply connected to the philosophy, discipline, and cultural values embedded in these traditions. Martial arts have taught me respect, perseverance, and self-improvement, shaping my mindset both inside and outside the dojo.

I began my journey with judo at a young age, later transitioning to karate, where I developed a strong foundation in technique and discipline. Over time, my interest has shifted towards Taekwondo, a martial art that challenges both my physical agility and mental resilience. My goal is to continue improving in Taekwondo, refining my skills and deepening my understanding of its principles.

In June 2025, I spent 10 days in South Korea—mainly on vacation, but with a strong martial arts component. During the trip, I trained in Taekwondo over four days with two different masters of the art. It was an incredible experiencethat allowed me to deepen my practical knowledge and gain valuable insight from authentic, high-level instruction. Outside of training, I explored the vibrant city of Seoul, visited museums, tasted delicious Korean food, and even went on a tour to the DMZ near the North Korean border. The trip gave me a richer cultural understanding and further strengthened my commitment to martial arts.

CHESS

Chess is more than just a game to me—it’s a mental challenge that sharpens strategic thinking, patience, and problem-solving skills. I have been playing chess for several years, and it has become an essential part of my daily routine. Among board games and video games, I have always been drawn to strategy-based gameplay, where foresight, adaptability, and tactical decision-making are key.

I dedicate around one hour each day to playing chess, constantly seeking ways to improve my game. Whether analyzing past matches or testing new strategies, the process of learning and refining skills is what makes chess so engaging. I find inspiration in Magnus Carlsen and Hikaru Nakamura, two of the greatest minds in the game, whose approaches to chess continue to motivate me.

For me, chess is not just about winning—it’s about continuous self-improvement, anticipating challenges, and thinking multiple steps ahead, both in the game and in life.

PLAYING THE PIANO

I am primarily a self-taught pianist, drawn to the elegance and depth of classical music. My passion for the piano stems from my appreciation of timeless compositions, which have inspired me to learn and refine my playing skills over time. Studying classical pieces has not only helped me develop technical proficiency but has also deepened my understanding of musical structure and expression.

Playing the piano is more than just a hobby—it is a form of relaxation and creativity. The sound of the keys provides a sense of calm, making it an ideal way to unwind and focus. Beyond learning existing compositions, I also enjoy experimenting with creating my own small pieces, using the instrument as a tool for self-expression and improvisation.

For me, the piano is not just about playing notes—it is about feeling the music, improving with every practice, and finding inspiration in every melody.
